Quality Year-Round Entertainment for People of All Ages
These dynamic dramalogues are suitable for people of all ages. If you're seeking to learn about the African American worship experience and/or present something different at your next event, you've come to the right place -- JUST BITS. Though most popular during African American History Month, MLK celebrations, Juneteenth, and women's month, this program should not be restricted to only those holidays.
The history is fused with the almost intangible spirit of our ancestors that flows throughout the spoken word, songs, and dramatics of this one-woman show. The African American worship experience springs to life as Sherre transports participants through time to the slave ships to the cotton fields to the church house.
Children and people of all ages from all walks of life are transported back to a time when "faith was all we had." It is spiritual, inspirational, entertainment, all packed in one powerful dramalogue!
The Great Train Ride

From the Motherland to the Promised Land
People of all ages have clapped their hands, cried, stomped their feet, and laughed as they kept their eyes riveted on this original monologue. Appearing on stage dressed as a slave, Bishop brings to life various scenes from slavery to today, narrating and singing throughout. In From the Motherland to the Promised Land, Bishop traces the African American worship experience from a unique perspective. The experience evokes various emotions -- remembrances, tears, sorrow, laughter and pride. The adults, as well as the youth, find this to be more than "something different," and a spiritual, educational, and rejuvenating experience. The experience evokes, tears, sorrow, laughter, pride and fond memories of the faith of the African American through trials and tribulations. This presentation has been performed at conferences, colleges, worship services, banquets, retreats, family reunions, anniversaries and other celebrations. This is a great performance to feature at any of the above mentioned events for educational, historical, or faith-based programs.
